ScooterBees - The storytelling shoe
Turn the "pages" of the shoe to wear the full story! The four "pages" are the two wrap-around straps for both shoes. For the Caterpillar design, your child can look down at his/her feet to see a leaf and caterpillar, or (after changing which flap is on top) flowers and a butterfly. You get to explain how a caterpillar eats the leaves, then transforms into a butterfly who will drink flower nectar. Teachable moments!
ScooterBees are the first shoes that are meaningful to the child, the parents, and the earth. ScooterBees is a top-to-bottom eco-friendly children soft-soled shoe, fitting little feet from US size 2 to 6.5 (0 to 2.5 years old).

ScooterBees shoes adjust to the feet's different thicknesses and widths, with two wrap around velcro straps. Great transitional shoes for pre-walkers to first walkers with the durable and waterproof TPE outsoles, yet completely machine washable and dryable.
Each pair of ScooterBees shoes is packaged in a reusable jute bag.

Let the little feet experience the luxurious Sensuede fabric, a breathable micro-suede engineered and patented to be wrinkle-, fray-, shrink- and spill-resistant. The fabric is made with 100% post-consumer and post-industrial polyester and is produced without the use of harmful solvents. Sensuede is certified for OekoTex and ISO 14001.
ScooterBees shoes are lined with the softest bamboo velour fabric that is naturally anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. Bamboo makes a great sustainable resource. The little soles are made with the anti-slip and water-resistant ThermoPlastic Elastomer (TPE) material. TPE is a degradable material made of carbon and hydrogen, it uses no harmful chemicals in its production such as in traditional PVC�s . It is PVC-free, latex-free, and most-importantly, chloride-free, dioxin-free, and phthalate-free. TPE is fully recyclable in its manufacturing cycles as well.
The shoes are manufactured with Fair Trade labor in Peru and in the United States (San Francisco, California).
